Black business cards exude elegance, exclusivity, high-end, status, and luxury. Especially when paired with a black-on-black minimalist design. This is the type of business card you bring with you to a major networking event or to keep in your pocket in case you meet someone you want to impress. Unfortunately, if printed by persons who are unfamiliar with this style of card, they may appear tacky and cheap.

Is it possible to apply Spot UV to Premium Black cards?

Spot UV is only available with Smooth Matte Laminate or Semi Gloss coating on our 16pt board (which is a white stock).

Choose a clear or black foil if you want a Premium Black stock with a comparable appearance to spot UV. Choose our 18pt Suede stock with Spot Black ink for a more cost-effective choice, albeit this option is only available on one side. On the other hand, you’ll have to use a different printing method.

What distinguishes your premium Black Business Cards from the rest?

Our Black cards are printed on all-black card paper, which means the edges and inside of the card are also black (if you tear it apart). Most conventional cards are white and printed with black ink to make them appear black.

Standard ink will not show up on our Premium Black stocks since they are so dark. The only printing procedures available on our Premium Black materials are foil, screen print, and emboss.

Because of the high quality and caliber of card used, as well as the increased production expenses associated with foiling and embossing, our Premium Black cards are a premium product (rather than printing).

How long will my business cards last?

A business card’s lifespan varies dramatically depending on how it is maintained, carried, and used. The card’s lifespan will be 3+ years if you keep a stack on your desk. The lifespan of cards will be shortened if they are used frequently. Improper storage or handling of your card can potentially shorten its lifespan.

Will the business card scratch?

The printed area of your business card should not fade or scratch easily, regardless of the paper type or coating you choose. This is especially true if a glossy finish is chosen over a matte finish. The surface, however, is not totally scratch resistant. When handled often, the card’s edges are prone to fade over time. If the card is kept in a tight space, the edges might easily bend over time.
